Volunteers from SEED for a study tour at the demonstration site area of National Integrated Water Resources Management in the Nam Pok River

On January 28-29, 2023, Mrs. Soulichan LAMXAY from the Faculty of Environmental Sciences at NUOL and 15 student volunteers from Social Environmental Education and Development (SEED) at FES at NUOL had the opportunity to go on a study tour about the management of water resources in the Nam Pok River at Vang Vieng District, Vientiane Province.

This site was created by the Department of Water Resources, MONRE, and the purpose of creating this area was to preserve water sources, provide a place to study, research, and learn about water management and water resources for society, and create awareness as a role model for other provinces, in order to protect water resources and as a basis for cooperation with other countries.

The purpose of this journey is to exchange lessons learned from the volunteer (SEED)'s shared lessons and experiences with the Department of Water Resources.
