INOWASIA attracts 4 new APC members in September 2023

The #INOWASIA team is proud to announce that 2 HEIs and 2 private companies have chosen to become new APC members of INOWASIA group. The Institute of Agriculture from the University of Western Australia (#UWA) in Australia and the #RMIT University in Vietnam are the 2 HEIs to join us. The 2 private companies are from Europe: #IRIDRA from Italia and #WETCON Tecnologias Del Agua from Spain.

The Institute of Agriculture from the University of Western Australia is the first institute in Australia for Agricultural Sciences (ARWU, 2022) and the 15^th in the world (ARWU, 2022). Their vision is to foster innovation and provide research-based solutions to food and nutritional security, environmental sustainability and agribusiness. The Institute works with the agricultural and natural resource sectors to create knowledge and improve workforce skills, contribute to local and regional prosperity, and exercise responsible stewardship of the environment.

IRIDRA is an engineering firm with twenty-year experience and interdisciplinary professionals, able to provide all the services in the field of planning, design and work supervision of works related to sustainable water management. Particularly, IRIDRA is nowadays recognized as a leading firm in the field of nature-based solutions (NBS) and green infrastructure (such as constructed wetland for wastewater treatment), sustainable drainage systems (SuDS), ecosystem services and climate change adaptation and mitigation in the water sector.

WETCON is specialized in constructed wetlands, offering a set of modern, economical and tailored solutions. Constructed wetlands are shallow lagoons or channels with aquatic vegetation that purify wastewater, naturally, following environmentally and economically sustainable processes and materials.
